Bronze Sculpture Signed by Lorenzo E. Ghiglieri
Oregon Artist born in 1931, has the seal of the Maiden Bronze Foundry.

In 1992, Lorenzo sculpted the “American Bald Eagle” silver and gold, which is part of the permanent collection at the White House. He also created a 33-foot tall bronze eagle “Skookum Hyak” (power surge), that dominates the entrance to a resort in Oregon. At City Hall in Kansas City there is a statue of Abraham Lincoln and his son, Tad, sculpted by Ghiglieri.
Ghiglieri’s work is held in numerous prominent collections including the permanent White House Collection, the Vatican, Kremlin, and the Smithsonian Museum. Many world leaders possess his sculptures, among them Pope John Paul 11, King Juan Carlos of Spain, Mikhail Gorbachev, and Queen Elizabeth.

One-of-a-kind Sculpture by known artist Bruce Lindsay,
available at the Stone House Antiques Center.

Bruce Lindsay is a professional sculptor and educator based in Hamilton, New Jersey. A graduate of Bucknell University, he has been actively creating sculpture in cast metals and glass for over thirty years. Bruce has exhibited at Montclair Art Museum, Audubon Artists in NYC, Trenton City Museum, and elsewhere. In 2006 his “United States War Dogs Memorial, State of New Jersey” was dedicated in Holmdel, NJ. His sculpture “Use of Memory”, part of the Sculpture Foundation permanent collection, is sited at Grounds for Sculpture. Through his company Integral Sculpture Works Bruce has assisted many other artists with the design and production of sculpture in a wide variety of materials.

Bruce Lindsay’s sculpture takes familiar objects from nature and by changing their material through the arduous process of casting in metal and glass produces artworks that arrest the sense of loss that the passage of time can bring. Items on the brink of decay, such as driftwood and leaves are rendered permanent in stainless steel and bronze. Their moment of departure in the crucible of casting is meticulously recorded in materials that are profoundly permanent.
