Well known Bucks County artist Christine Marx studied with many fantastic teachers over the years. Her love of the technique of “Chiarascuro” shows in all her artwork. Chiaroscuro in art is the use of strong contrasts between light and dark, usually bold contrasts affecting a whole composition. It is also a technical term used by artists and art historians for the use of contrasts of light to achieve a sense of volume in modelling three-dimensional objects and figures. Christine juried in "Salon International" at the Greenhouse Gallery in San Antonio Texas in 2013. She was also a winner for a juried show for Still Life Category. Her paintings are in many private collections throughout the United States. Stone House Antiques Center has been honored for the past 4 years to have her fine art paintings on display and available for sale at our store. Come see some of her latest works currently displayed at the store today.
Alan Snyder and Daughter Amelia Snyder have been dealing in Americana, jewelry, coins, paintings, silver, early lighting, books, folk art & fine memorabilia, Since 1979. They are also Certified Antique & Estate Appraisers. You can find these and many more interesting pieces in Alan Synder & Daughter showroom on the 2nd floor of the Stone House Antiques Center.

"For someone who never goes to antique stores, I would go back to Stone House. The staff was super friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome and helped us to try and find the pieces which were of interest. There was a great variety but the spaces were both full yet pleasantly open. Sean M. Google Reviews
"Beautiful setting in an old stone house (imagine that!). The interior is clean and well organized. I always find something I love here. Service is excellent. One of my favorite places to go looking." Jackie C. Google Reviews
