Pennsylvania Primitive Painted Trunk, Early 1800’s Original Robbins Egg Blue Paint, 47” width x 19” depth x 24.5” height
Bucks County Artist E.S.Sharp uses Botanicals and weather patterns as a source for inspiration. Her home in the Delaware River region offers an endless source of changing cloud formations, mist, beautiful light and interesting architecture which you will see in her paintings.
Watercolor was her first love. Working with watercolor mono prints gave her a freedom and discovered techniques that lead her back to her fascination with stained canvasses.
The technique of stained canvasses with acrylic paint gives her the expression of watercolor with the options of size and durability of traditional painting.
