Stone House Antiques Center is an excellent example of a truly gracious 18th to 19th century residence, built by merchant Thomas Walton, and is on the National Register of Historic Places and is part of the Mechanicsville Village Historic District, a well-preserved example of an colonial crossroads village. Parts of the building are estimated to go back to the 1730s.

Only a few minutes from the charming and bustling antiques, art and shopping meccas of Doylestown, Lahaska, Peddler's Village, New Hope, PA, and only eight miles from Lambertville, NJ,  the Stone House Antiques Center is quick and easy to reach, just a couple miles from Routes 202, 263, and 611. The painting of Stone House is by Ali McMenamin, a long time Bucks County resident, businesswoman,  and artist. It shows the classic lines of this wonderful property, set across the street from the also historic village post office in Mechanicsville.
