Cheret did a few posters for the dances at this theatre between 1892 and 1897. This poster features a profiled woman in a billowing dress looking out over her shoulder as a shadowy male figure and others dance around her. The charmer's dress is striped in two shades of green and she gestures to her escort with a fan, keeping us interested.
This is a rare antique piece and available in Gordon’s showroom at the Stone House Antiques Center.
